Welcome to the conference page of the European Consortium for Sociologial Research (ECSR). In 2010, the ECSR and the European Science Foundation (ESF) Social Science Programmes 'Quantitative Methods in the Social Sciences (QMSS) 2' and 'TransEurope' will be joining forces to host a three-day conference from 30 September to 2 October 2010 to be held in the UNESCO World Heritage City of Bamberg, Germany.

The registration for our conference is closed now. All in all, more than 130 scientists from all over Europe, Northern America and Australia registered in the past weeks. Thank you for your understanding that we cannot accept additional registrations at this stage. The feedback to our conference was huge. With more than 130 persons who registered until May 17, the capacities of the conference are now fully exhausted.
96 papers will be presented in a total of 24 sessions, each containing of four presentations. Additionally, internationally renowned scientific experts will provide five focused keynote lectures on up-to-date research issues in the various sociological fields this conference addresses.
